You’ve finalized your beautiful design for your thank you cards. What’s next? What you write in your cards can be just as impactful as the cards themselves. Here are our top three suggestions for showing your customers your appreciation.

Successful Thank You Note Components

1. Make sure to thank the customer sincerely. Some people opt not to write thank you notes because they are under the impression it has to be lengthy. Simply recognize that this customer visited your store or website and purchased an item, and personally thank them for their patronage.

2. Steer clear of turning your thank you letter into a sales pitch. Thank you notes are viewed as passive sales tools to build customer relationships; don’t let it become a promotional ad. While you can highlight upcoming events you’ll hope he or she will attend, avoid anything directly pointing to purchasing again.

3. Remind your customers that you are easily accessible to them. At the end of the thank you note, inform your customers that you are available for any questions.

It’s November, and that means the Holiday season is upon us! When Thanksgiving is on the horizon, for many businesses, this means it’s time to send out greeting cards to potential customers, suppliers, clients, and even employees.

Holiday cards generally have two purposes: staying in touch with former, existing or potential customers or as a thank you to the individuals at companies you have an ongoing relationship with.

You’ll want to make sure that your card offers a personal touch. This can easily be done by signing each card individually, and including a short personal message, or mentioning something specific to the recipient. If you’re going to be sending out thousands of cards, you can always include your signature in the card’s design. By including a signature, it definitely adds a personal touch.

When thinking about sending Holiday cards, the recipient should receive the card before the end of the year. It’s best to have them sent out no later than the second week in December. During this month, businesses often close early for the holidays, and you’ll want to make sure they receive the card before they all leave for the holidays.

The postal service is extremely busy this time of year, so make sure you leave plenty of time for delivery.

The holidays and shopping season is right around the corner. It’s never too early to think about sending out greeting cards. It’s the perfect time to let new and existing customers know how much you appreciate their business with printed greeting cards. In less time than you know, everyone will be right in the middle of the hustle and bustle that characterizes the entire holiday shopping season.

For shoppers, it’s exciting. For the business owner, it’s all about business. Small businesses on every corner and online are going to spend quality time creating sales promotions to funnel the holiday traffic through their front door, checkouts and websites. Millions of traditional e-cards and premium business cards will fill the airways and mailboxes in anticipation of building better business relationships.

If you have a smaller business, you can trump the bigger competition with customized holiday greeting cards. So, if your goal is to deepen relationships, drive sales and grow your business, look into printing custom greeting cards. Below are some tips that can help make this season a profitable one.

Mail your Greeting Cards in a Timely Manner

Receiving late holiday cards can be taken as an insult and it could appear that your card is only a late afterthought. Customers can be hard to please. They’re likely to share their disappointments far more often than their satisfactions. You don’t want your good intentions ending up giving you and your business a bad reputation.
