It’s November, and that means the Holiday season is upon us! When Thanksgiving is on the horizon, for many businesses, this means it’s time to send out custom holiday cards to potential customers, suppliers, clients, and even employees.
Holiday greeting cards generally have two purposes: staying in touch with former, existing or potential customers or as a thank you to the individuals at companies you have an ongoing relationship with.
You’ll want to make sure that your card offers a personal touch. This can easily be done by signing each card individually, and including a short personal message, or mentioning something specific to the recipient. If you’re going to be sending out thousands of cards, you can always include your signature in the card’s design. By including a signature, it definitely adds a personal touch.
When thinking about sending Holiday cards, the recipient should receive the card before the end of the year. It’s best to have them sent out no later than the second week in December. During this month, businesses often close early for the holidays, and you’ll want to make sure they receive the card before they all leave for the holidays.
The postal service is extremely busy this time of year, so make sure you leave plenty of time for delivery.
