Background<\/h2>\n

An upscale clothing boutique for \u201cromantic minds + kindred spirits\u201d was looking for branded collateral utilizing her existing logo and color palette. Elle, the store owner, had some excellent groundwork already in place regarding the store\u2019s aesthetic, and she needed help translating that into printed materials.<\/span><\/p>\n

Goal<\/h2>\n

Elle wanted to create business cards, hang tags, and stickers that were fun, romantic, and a little bohemian. Her audience for this project was stylish women in their 20\u2019s and 30\u2019s.<\/p>\n

Elle provided a mood board with her existing color palette and inspiration photos. We made a few changes to the accent colors she had chosen so that they would better complement existing elements in her physical store.<\/p>\n

\"Custom<\/p>\n

Once we had that nailed down, we discussed product options and how some of our special finishes (Stamped, Inline Foil, Spot UV, etc.) could be used during the design process. I created concepts with and without special finishes, providing costs of each option along the way. Based on her description of her customer base and her budget, we agreed on a feminine watercolor-inspired background with splashes of gold foil and black \u201cink.\u201d<\/p>\n

This combination of feminine, neutral tones, the luxury of gold foil, and the carefree black splashes extraordinarily tied all of her ideas together in a cohesive, well-branded package.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
