Our infographic takes you down a path to determine which is best for you; frosted or clear plastic cards.

The Similarities

Our clear and frosted plastic cards share some similarities. Both options are durable, unique, and innovative. They are 20PT thick and can only be printed on one side due to their opacities.

The Major Differences

Frosted plastic cards are semi-transparent, and clear plastic cards are fully transparent. The pricing between these products varies slightly. 100 standard size frosted plastic cards start at $80 whereas the same quantity of clear plastic cards is $95.

Our clear plastic cards also arrive with protective film on them to help prevent scratching. You will need to remove the film from the cards before marketing your business with them.

The Popular Vote

Frosted cards are the more popular business card option of the two. They are a crowd favorite because not only are they affordable, but they also offer a semi-transparent look while keeping ink semi-transparent as well. Our frosted plastic cards have a smooth, dull texture and are our most popular plastic card option.

Design Tips

All colors printed on clear or frosted cards will be semi-transparent or muted. We currently do not have opaque colors or white ink available. We recommend using larger and/or bolder fonts for legibility and staying away from small knockouts.
