This cost-effective service allows you to create your own advertisement on premium, oversized postcards for an affordable price. Through this service, you can geographically target the neighborhoods and people that are the best customers for your business.

How To Get Started

There are two different types of EDDM®. We’ll walk you through the differences of each, helping you determine which is best for you.

Full Service EDDM®

  • You can do it all from our website.
  • Select an in-mailbox delivery date.
  • Select your mailing routes through our easy-to-use mapping tool.
  • Upload your files or have one of our in-house graphic designers create a unique design for your business.
  • Review your order and complete your checkout, including postage, for only 16 cents per postcard.
  • We handle the printing, processing, and delivery to the post office.
  • There is no limit on the number of postcards that can be sent out each day.

Print Only, which is also referred to as Every Door Direct Mail-R:

  • We print the postcards and ship them to you.
  • You create an account with the USPS® and select your routes on their website.
  • Complete your USPS® paperwork and pay for your postage (17.6 cents per home).
  • After receiving your postcards via the USPS®, you will need to prepare each route’s bundle with facing slips.
  • A maximum of 5,000 postcards per day can be sent.

Letterhead Design Tips

Use the right software.

It’s important to make sure you’re using the right software. While Microsoft Word or Pages is acceptable for an ultra-simple layout, these will impose significant limitations when it comes to using graphics or more elaborate text layouts. Adobe InDesign is probably the most suitable program for creating custom layouts, as it is tailored towards creating more flexible publishing layouts. Illustrator is also a great alternative when creating a single-page layout.

Consider alignment and positioning.

In order to create a well thought out letterhead, it’s important to consider its sizing. The standard size for letterheads varies depending on the region. If you’re sending a letter in the United States or Canada, you’ll want to set your page to US Letter size, which is 8.5’’ x 11’’. You’ll also want to think about the grid of your layout.

While letterhead isn’t as intricate as a magazine cover, it still needs a simple grid structure (where you break up the page into square or rectangle sections). It’s helpful to look at other professional letterheads and observe the grids they employ. It’s important to take a moment to pause and consider who you’re sending your letter to.
